I got the same impression, tool

I just test fitted two sport bikes into my CC. The stock track system is just amazing! One tie down in the middle, and then two on bed sides. The stock ribbing on the bed actually holds the tires in place fairly well!

I forgot to get some pics, but I'll have to two at least 4 bikes up to the track in September (2 on an open trailer, 2 in the bed).
