RyBo- no worries about the Opticomm, as your lights won't activate the system and they are not considered "emitters" for the system. Opticomm actually works off infrared light and visible light and the flash rate is crazy fast. Just possession of them is illegal (unless authorized- law/fire/ems kinda stuff).

They make the "strobes" like you have in LED versions should you ever decide to replace them. Search for Whelen Vertex for really bright, but really small ones.

Even on private property you can potentially be nailed... a lot of states laws are written around the "display" of lights. If you're in a parking lot and an officer can see them, there is a chance!
