After reading this thread, I made up my mind to go and get the Nissan deflector which I did for $70 plus tax. Upon installing it, step 2 requires that you stick tape to the hood so the brackets do not scratch the paint. Sorry but I'm not sticking tape to my paint anywhere except for the splashguards. Deflector goes back tomorrow. Besides, in comparison to other places in the country, we don't have a whole lot of bugs down here in Phoenix.
