Truxedo Lo-Pro Cover
Just an FYI for those of you that are looking at covers. I just had one put on yesterday. It was at my local offroad center and he and i were on the phone for an hour. Here is the issue. I have the utilitrac system in my truck and he went to install it and all of the sudden, we discovered that the accessories in the bed (bed divider & bed extneder) had to be removed unless i just wanted the bed divider to stop about 24" from the cab and could only slide the extender in about 18" because the brackets (which are one hell of a design) are in the track. So what we did, tood the diveder out completely and removed the bracket that blocks the bed extender from going all of the way out. Installed all of the truxedo cover brackets and the ones that are at the end of the bed are now the end caps. The bed extender will not flip over the rails, about 2" of reveal does not allow this. You can install the supports for the bed extender all of the way at the end and manipulate the bed extender in. The only problem with this is that the bed extender, when not in use, sits in the bed loose. We need someone to figure a way out, withouot going to a hard cover or flip up cover, to let us keep all of the accessories in the track. Any thoughts? Please don't kill me if this was talked about. By the way, the cover looks great.
