Funny thing is I get all kinds of stuff from UPS all the time at my house, w/ no problems. I email toolking and tell them to contact UPS and waive signature as I won't stay home all day waiting for UPS. Toolking responds they won't waive signature and tells me to go pick it up at UPS. Now I'm thinking Home Depot and Sam's Club are more convenient than UPS, and why order stuff from the Internet if you can't get it delivered to your house? So I'm going to dispute the charge with my credit card company as "merchandise not delivered" and let toolking eat the UPS charges, and go buy the tools at Home Depot.
I'm sorry to hear that you have this problem. I had a problem a month or so ago when I tried to buy a weather radio with S.A.M.E. technology over the Internet. The company that I ordered from didn't let me know that the item was out of stock before I submitted my order. They couldn't give me any info on when they would have the item would to ship to me. I waited for weeks and weeks. I canceled my order and used Amazon. I had the radio I wanted within 5 days using regular UPS ground shipping. I should have ordered through Amazon.com from the get go but I forget about them having more than just books. They used to be affiliated with Tool Crib (one of the largest mail order tool companies) in the past. I'm not sure if they still are but Amazon has lots of tools. See the link below. for a 18v Dewalt combo kit.

I have had better luck ordering through Amazon than other companies because they are reputable and have been doing this for a long time. I get around the "not home to sign for delivery problem" by having the stuff delivered where I work. If I don't want people at work "into my business" knowing what I am ordering, I have it delivered to my wife's place of business.
