Central TX dealers
TGerm,
Just wanted to throw in my $.02 if you're looking for a truck in Austin; I got a SE King Cab yesterday for $400 under invoice before rebate with very little haggling, so pricing on these trucks is soft right now. No doubt I could've gotten it for less if I would've walked off and called them back on Friday (end of the month) but they had been reasonable and it was what I wanted so I pulled the trigger.
The only trick I had was finding what I wanted in stock; I ended up going to a San Antonio dealer to get the package I was looking for. However, I talked with both the Austin dealers on other trucks, and they didn't push back when I told them I wanted the truck for below invoice, so be aggressive on pricing. With things as competitive as they are in the truck category right now I wouldn't be surprised to see $5-6,000 or more off MSRP the norm for Titans in the next 6 months. I feel like I owe a big thank-you to Nissan for building such a great truck; it's ironic that their entry into the market is one of the many factors that is pushing the pricing down on all 1/2 tons.
