Icky. that sucks Goose! Sorry to hear about ur truck, glad to hear everyone was ultimately okay. Stupid Biotch with no fricken carseats for her kids, I woulda freaked on her, that is my crazy side, protecting ur kids is #1. And ppl who don't should be hurt, that is one of the most blatant ignorant forms of child abuse, in my opinion.
Anywho, I think ur airbags probably should have came out, my sister just got bumped into at a light and her Jeep Liberty deployed from every direction, and it only pushed her bumper into the car in front of her.
Again, glad everyone is okay, sucks about ur truck and ankle. Get them to check everything when u get it fixed. Take care.
