The test results show the QX56 has more power. It does seem like it is a more agressive tune so it needs premium fuel. It would seem that you could retune for the extra power if you were willing to burn premium fuel. Around here premium is only about 10 cents more so it isn't a big difference. it would only take about a 6% increase in fuel economy to pay for it.
