I'm not from the islands but wish I were. We've been to the island of Maui enough times, I should be considered a local. Which island are you from? I think I would get frusturated having a Titan on the islands as there aren't many places to take her out and really (I mean REALLY) stretch her legs. Bet you have a good time upcountry though. Aloha nui brah! You are correct you sit a lot in traffic in Hawaii to go small distances. I consider that severe driving therefore every 3K miles oil changes. I live in Oahu but looks like we are going to see in the next year or a couple, a Super Ferry based in Hawaii. It's already being built in the mainland (Continental U.S.) Going to be able to carry vehicles to outer islands. Will be similarly priced as interisland airfare but of course you have to pay extra for your vehicle. I'm going to plan on going though. Need to take the Titan up Mauna Kea, Haleakala, Hana, etc.. That should definitely stretch her legs! Anyways Aloha.
