I will start with mine and hopefully everyone with a front axle failure will add to the thread. I have reported the failure to NHTSA and I believe everyone with this problem should do the same.

Well, it finally happened. I had to replace the front differential. At the magic 60,900 mile mark of course. Lucky for me I purchased an extended warranty, when the truck was new and surprise the company is still in business, except the extension cost me about a 1K and the deductible is 100 bucks. The front diff just started making a whine/ growling noise. The Nissan service adviser also stated he is very dissapointed in the Titan line. He said he was thinking about stocking the rear and front diffs because he said they have replaced about 30 front diffs alone already and expects many more to fail... NICE. Anyway this POS 2004 Titan 4X4 SE crew cab with off road package now has a new rear diff, with matching new front diff along with the fix for the brake judder. All with only 61K on it. I would dump this truck except noboby would buy it. I have always taken really good care of this truck. It is completely stock, never rodded it or taken it off road except for the occasional yearly hunting trip. I dont even tow heavy. I am really dissapointed with the quality. I have been a Nissan faithful since I used to be a Datsun Technician back in the late 70's early 80's. Nissan you blew it with the Titan. Sorry.
