Hi,

I have been thinking of buying an Titan 04 XE with 50k miles on it. I love the truck, it is in mint condition, but I am afraid that I will always have to repalce the rotors and pads.
The dealer (not a Nissan dealer) said he would replace all 4 rotors and pads for me as part of our deal. Will this fix the "judder" problem for good? The truck currently does judder and at first I thought it was rust on the rotors from sitting in the dealership, but after reading this thread, that is doudtful. Either the previous owners did not fix the breaks correctly, or they did a whole new break job with the same results, a judder, which may be why the truck has lower miles.
I guess my question is, if the dealer gives me new rotors and pads, are my break concers over? AND did this "judder" happen to every single 04 and early 05 or just certain ones? My other option is a used Tundra, but I LOVE the Titan. Thanks so much. Please let me know ASAP if you can. Thanks.
