I am currently looking to purchase a used 2008 Titan in the next month or two. I have owned two titans in the past, a 2005 KC SE with captain seats and a 2006 CC LE with captain seats. I currently own a Dodge Ram (mistake I made) but I do like the bench seat with the center arm rest. I know that the tian can come equipped with the bench just like the Ram, however since I am looking for a used one and am extermely picky about what I want (color, options etc...) I figured I would evaluate some options.

I have read several posts hear and at other sites about the seats but haven't seen anyone post about this idea yet, I would like to see if anyone has done this or knows if it can be done. If I purchase a titan with the captains seats and center storage (will be a CC) can the seat backs be replaced with the seat backs from a bench seat? Does the center section attach to the seat backs and still allow it to raise/lower? Would you still have access to the storage compartment in the center console? Does anyone have pics of this type of mod? Thanks for the help.
