AC Level
Well, I am not here to complain, just to ask a question. I still love my truck but this one has stumped me.
I found the problem today. I was driving to Tractor Supply and it was about 90 degrees outside. I am usually one that has the windows down and barely uses the AC. However, my wife and Dad were in the truck so I turned it on. I put it on the 2nd level, but I could tell there discomfort. I put it on three but still, they looked hot. So, I put it on level four. The AC turned off. The settings were: Regular AC (not max), AC light on, recirculating light on, and level four. NOthing was blowing, AC was not on. So I put it on 3 and it started working again. I tried every possible configuration and 4 would never work on any setting. I think it is a faulty swith, or something simple of that nature. Level 4 was used this past weekend with no probs until today. Please provide info if you know or heard of this problem before.
One other thing, more of a concern. As some of you know, I installed a LOC behind the radio deck. I never touched the AC wires, but do you think the dealership will fix the problem under warranty?? My dealership is really cool, but they know I have been back there messing with the radio. Thanks.
