Plus most people are just flat out dumb. Around here cops will sit in the middle of the road (the soild yellow line, turn lanes) and clock people at the top of hills lol

Clean install though..minus the nicks on the dash.. you said you're going to paint though. You painting it to look stock again, or painting it to match the outside paint color..?
Up here in Alaska the cops will sit in the intersections on the highway behind the big snow mounds in the winter trying to hide. But the highway I drive everyday had couple of over passes on it. I have actually had mine alert me with a cop on the other side of the hill. I was amazed when that happened.

I was up in the air on the paint, not sure which way to go. I like the idea of matching the outside color, but I also like the idea of matching back to stock. I am only 24, but as I have gotten a couple years under my belt I have started to like having everything resemble stock, I think it is just cleaner that way. You have any input?

Too long to tell. Unbelievable how much to install just a radar detector. The front sensors were a pain in the a$$ since I did not want to remove the bull bar, I could not fit a drill bit up there. I ended up using self tapping screws and a 90 degree turn on my drill. 45 minutes from start to finish running those wires in the cab. rear sensor probably 30 minutes with mounting and running wires along frame and into cab. I probably have about 2 hours of work in the interior with mounting the display unit, LED, mute button, speaker, and brain box.

Overall I am happy with the install with the exception of the nicks in the dash.
