I also installed the WeatherTech weatherflectors on my Titan (all four doors).
I also broke a piece on the driver side flector, but experience no drawbacks in operation. I experienced some "shavings" on the top of the windows the first couple weeks, but no big deal in my opinion, just the weatherflectors seating themselves.
Honestly - Pros are awaresome/much cleaner look than stick on deflectors and high functionality - very little increase in wind noise/buffeting in cabin. Cons are the front window deflectors are tedious to install and they do contact the window (much more than the rear deflectors)
Personally I think they are worth it and I also feel the spec for the front deflector is just a little too large, thus the slight interference as you put the window up.
