Re: trailer brakes

Hey guys Nice threading. I can always rely on the forums for insight and news and reviews. I have the Elec. Brake adapter tucked under the steering column. I had an aftermarket Class IV hitch installed with a 6 pole plug. I recently installed new brakes and a new 6 Pole on the trailer with new wiring. I intend to purchase a controller, more than likely the prodigy due to the rave reviews. So I have not put much time into the truck wiring itself. Going back to the existing Elec. Plug under the column and the aftermarket hitch and pole. Are the wires from the Elec. Plug installed by the Manu. ran to the rear of the truck? I guess I am asking where would I find the wires from the elec. Plug at the rear of the truck? So I can wire them into the 6 pole receiver on the hitch. The only wires ran to the 6 pole on the truck are splices from my tail lights. Any insight will be greatly appreciated.
