I have been trying to find someone that manufactures an in car holster that doesn't 1. strap around your entire seat, 2. doesn't have a 1' tall stand that exposes the weapon completely, and 3. is a cheap and easy solution.
Needless to say... didn't find one. So what does any good redneck do??? I made my own cheap version that actually wound up looking and functioning pretty good.
Here is what you need:
1 - Mike's RH IWB holster that fits your weapon of choice ($10.99)
1 - 1/8" drill bit ($1.00)
1 - self tapping screw that will freely fit in the hole you drill ($0.10)
Total = $12.09 + uncle sam
Directions:
Take your holster and drill a small hole in the belt clip approximately 1/2 -1 1/2" up from the bottom of the clip (obviously centered left to right) pending the size of your barrel length. Mine is a p232 3" barrel and I positioned the hole roughly 3/4".
*** Make sure that where the hole is made, you can still stick a screw driver on it to screw it into your center console. The higher the better. Just be careful with the plastic clips on the Mike's holsters.
Stick the screw into the clip from the inside out.

This is the attached drawing.
Next figure out where you want to mount your holster and then screw it into place. Be careful not to strip the plastic that you are screwing into.
Finished results should look like this:
