The tires stick out a bit which is causing my truck to constantly get rainwater/mud etc slung all over its sides. Its rainy season here so daily baths are common!!
Heres the question: I am thinking of switching wheels to the offroad package wheel which is 17x7.5 and keeping my 265/70/17's. Will this smaller diameter wheel tuck the tires back in under fender wells for the most part? The stock tire that comes with these wheels are 285/70/17 so I am not sure what the width difference will be but I know a smaller diameter wheel should help some. Thanks for any help

Do you mean a "Narrower" wheel? The stock off-road 17 inch wheel doesn't spray much onto the sides of the truck, but it does spray some. Your Michelins should be about 3/4 of an inch narrower than the 285/70/17 tire. The main difference might be what offset you have on your wheels compared to stock...
