I read about this trade several months ago.GM traded some small diesel motors(suitable for cars I guess) from one of it's Euro companies to get those Honda V-6's and the Honda 5 speed auto.Honda apparently has no diesel motors??
The Honda combo will be in all V-6 VUES;the GM V-6 won't be available.The little VUE is about as quick- 7.4 I think-as our Titan.Claiming 250 hp in it;the Pilot has 240 hp.
I have that motor in the Pilot,and it is a good running motor-plenty quick for a 4400 lb SUV-the Moto mags claim about 8.2 0-60.The city mpg is pitiful`14 mpg,but we got an honest 22+ mpg on a 3000 mile trip a couple of weeks ago.Thanks,Charlie
