I had an 04 LE off road which I replaced with an 08 LE. I did not like the painted front and the black covered mirrors on the 08 Pro. I ended up taking the skid plates off of my 04 and put them on my 08 and everything fits like a glove (3 skid plates). The rear end ratio will be the same if you have the Big tow on the LE but you will be missing the locker. Not important to me because I don't do any off roading with my Titan anyhow (i take my 97 pathfinder not my $30,000+ Titan to get it scratched and beat up) not to mention I have the CC long bed which is few feet longer than a boeing 747 and requires the width of the State of Kansas to turn around. The Rancho shocks on my 04 were so so and I replaced them with belistin shocks. So I would go with an LE and look for the skid plates on Ebay or Craiglist etc. The True Track is the way to go if you do some major off roading though not sure they have it for the 08 which have a different diff than earlier year. Either way you go you can't go wrong. I loved both my 04 and 08. Best of luck.
