Here's some news for all Titan owners.

Today both myself and my neighbor went to the dealership to drop our Titans off for some work. As for my Titan it was for a oil change, low tire pressure warning light staying on, and right fog light loose. As for the neighbor it was of course brake related!!

Well, while checking in the service department manager advised us that there has been a recall from Nissan on the brakes. And that full details would be mailed to all Titan owners that are effected by the recall. At the time he didn't have the sheet stating the information on what the fix was going to be, but believed it was something like replacing the rotors, brake pads, and calipers.

Needless to say we both put are names on the list at the dealership to get our Titans fixed. That's right a LIST, as of this morning he had 12 other Titans ahead of us on the recall list. He advised us that the list ws so that Titan owners wouldn't get bumped by some-one else, because he forsees a long back order on the parts.

Well, first thing in the morning I plan on calling Nissan Corp. to verify the Recall Status. I hope everyone here calls also and checks with the dealerships that they purchased the Titan from as well as other dealers in their area.

Let's do our best to keep everyone here informed and up to date on this issue.
