Dealership: Thoroughbred Nissan, Tucson AZ
Salesman: Raquel and the rest of the staff
Experience: EXCELLENT

I was planning on buying the following week, but ended up coming home with the Titan -- a week early. I already had done my homework on the big three, toyota and nissan. After looking at the toyota, chevy and test driving the F-150 and Dodge Hemi, the Titan felt the best for me.

They didn't pressure me or play any games. I told them I wanted to do some more research to double check the price. They said they would let me use their computer if I would like. I logged on to carsdirect.com and selected the packages/options my truck had based on the invoice and window sticker. The carsdirect results exactly matched their invoice. I then went onto edmunds.com and appraised my trade - 96 ranger. Told them I wanted that trade in allowance. They came back with a number a little lower and I told them no. They gave me that allowance. I considered this pretty good since I did not have the truck with me for them to check out. I actually brought it in a few days later. I ended up paying the invoice price and getting the low APR financing instead of the rebate.

However, they did cause me some grief. I purchased the optional alarm and the security guy did not set it up to work with my remote. At 6:45 the next morning, Sunday, the alarm went off when I opened the door. The neighbors were not happy since I did not know how to shut it off. It finally went off a few minutes after I shut the door. I was not able to call anybody for help since it was Sunday and was held hostage by the alarm. I took my trade in the next day and calmly explained the dilema they put me in. They were very concerned and upset over this. They offered to tow my vehicle in or send somebody out right then. I had to go to work, but the alarm guy told me how to temporarily disable it. That night I called the dealership to tell them I was able to disable it and they didn't need to send anybody out. John, the sales manager, apologized profusely and said he thanked me for not getting mad and I deserved some compensation. They gave me a custom dash mat, and 6 free oil changes, plus they will give me the extended warranty and some aftermarket goodies at cost.

All in all this was the most pleasant purchasing experience I have had. If their service department is as good as the sales department, they might just have a customer for life.

Forgot to add they also gave me a certificate for a free 1000 mile inspection and a certificate for an unlimited number of truck washes for 30 days.
