Not to be a downer, but as far as boosting towing capacity, you're out of luck. No matter what you do to the truck you're still limited to the manufacturer's max GCWR and it can't be boosted by adding springs, airbags, or changing gears. Doing any or all of these things will, however, make your truck handle the load it is rated for easier and safer.

I'd just hate for you to do something that attracted the attention of local motor carrier enforcement and got you a hefty ticket when you thought you were OK to pull it.
