My CD's play immediately within 5 seconds but I wait until the system is completely on before inserting one. When switching to SIRIUS, IPOD or a CD the average delay is about 5 seconds, sometimes faster. The NAV is quick with strong signals. Its the voice command delays that take awhile to recognize when changing from either or.
