were on the same page, everyone believes that since the manufacturer tell you itl tow , 10, 000lbs, that its safe to do so. maybee across town and thats it,. put those big trailers on a highway or mountain road and it can become dangerous, and also, are these people towing these big a%&trailers really set up for it, how do your brakes feel wit 8k lbs behind them?? take a look at the leaf springs sprung to their limit. 1/2 tons , no matter if thier 400 hp or not, still are not a heavy duty machine, none of them. any one who doesnt beleive me just needs to look underneath a ford f 250, or a 2500 chevy, or better yet, tow ur 30 foot trailwer with a titan and then w/ a 2500, the difference is huge.
