I seem to recall a recent post that said the fitment issues with the Volant CAI have been taken care of and that Volants most recent revision has no issues at all. As far as I know, there have been no MAF failures with the Volant. There have been some owners who had MAF failures when using the K&N but I'm not so sure it was due to the K&N. It may just seem that way because for every one Volant installed there must be 20 K&N units installed. Somebody suggested that the Titan may just have some flakey MAF's. Also heard that Volant uses a thinner oil and that they did this specifically to avoid fouling up MAF's. I personally have a K&N drop in element and have had no issues but I'm looking into the Volant CAI. This K&N/MAF/Warranty debate has been going on for some time now and I honestly don't think you will get a definitive answer. What you will get is a lot of opinions and facts that will ultimately make it harder for you to make a decision. Good luck!
