That's correct. Murder is done on purpose, manslaughter is accidental. There should be no difference between punishments for murder just because the victim is of different race than the perp. Again, all that does is reinforce the idea that the races are different, something that the black community has been fighting against since the inception of the constitution. There should be no subjectivity to punishment of crimes. It should not matter whether the motive was to "kill a black guy" or "to kill a white guy". Murder is murder, no matter the motive. Death sentence for both. Period.
