I don't know about cleaning platinum plugs, I think that is a big no no....others can chime in but I think it is pretty easy to damage the tips.

I'd look at changing the thermostat, its a pretty cheap insurance policy (~$15). Look at the serpentine belt pretty cheap too even though I'm sure you're good for another 10-20k miles. Flush or drain and refill the antifreeze, just be careful about the cheap plastic drain screw (don't know if the 06 is still plastic but my 04 is and its fragile).

I drained the tranny fluid and dropped the pan and cleaned the magnets on mine at 90k...maybe also look at the power steering fluid? I don't see many people talk about changing it, but mines real dark at 100k and its probably shortening the life of my power steering system.
