I had the dealership install a Flowmaster 40 Series and it was simply too loud and intrusive for my (and my wife's) taste. Way too loud for pleasant motoring. Once I had the 40 Series changed to a 70 Series, I was pleased. Nice "muscle car" sound at start-up, and great sound during hard acceleration, with very little cabin drone or roar at 65 mph.
For exhaust mods, if you go with a Flowmaster, go with the 70 Series - looks great, sounds great, and I have noticed a bit more quickness around 1500 rpm and a lot at 4000 rpm (don't do the 4000 too often, as mpg drops significantly).
I know that there are some other Titan owners that participate in this forum that are pleased with their 40 Series, but my 42 year old ears just don't like the drone and harsh cabin noise that the 40 produced. I enjoy my CD's and it is nice not to have to shout to carry on a normal conversation, while still having a nice throaty exhaust system.
