I had been on a wait list for the new brake TSB with my service center (brake kits were on backorder). On Tuesday, my already mushy brake pedal began going all the way down to the floor just to stop normally and a couple of times it held to the floor for a moment after I lifted my foot off of it (just like other posts we've read about). Called my service guy and he said bring it in first thing next day so they can check the brake booster. An hour after I talked to him I get a call from the parts guy telling me my brake kit is in and to call service for an appointment - what timing! So today (Wednesday) I took it in thinking they would take care of the brake pedal problem in addition to the TSB. They did the TSB which involved changing parts (as per the earlier post by Titanone) plus resurfacing and turning the front rotors (I have less than 3,000 miles so no new rotors for me). They also bled the front brakes. After doing this, the pedal feel improved. They inspected the brake booster and found no problems. After driving it myself, the pedal feel is much less mushy but still not stout--I was told that is normal for the Titan so I'm o.k. with that. If the brakes get mushy again they will probably change the booster. I also plan on checking the torque on the lug nuts myself.
