Well the conclusion to the story is that I now have a new Titan (Silver). It is optioned identically to the first one except that it did not have the bed extender. I had a friend at Reed and she took car of the trade in. I did take a slight hit but the difference was small enough for me to get rid of the aggrivation this was causing me. I now have the color I wanted in the first place and it is with some BS crappy paint job. My friend let me pull the bed extender out of the old one for nothing
I also got a free hitch receiver out of the original dealership.
The only negative on the new one is that the dealership installed the front plate mount... I really hate it on there but I've had no luck being able to order the bottom grill piece without buying the entire chrome bumper (over $400 lol). If anyone has a pristine bottom grill piece they are willing to sell let me know.
