Don't pay attention to the Ford Truck owner....

He sounds like the Ford Sales rep that tried to convince me of taking the F-150 over the Titan. I spent an hour a Ford dealership BEFORE driving the truck. After I drove it, I ran from the place and bought the Titan.

While there have been a couple of totally unacceptable experiences with Titan owners, most of the problems have been very minor and handled well by reputable dealers.

If you want to know about issues with the F-150, go here:

etc......

You'll find as many or more serious issues regarding the Ford as the Titan....and probably get a truck made in Mexico at that.

My minor issues (vibration that WAS fixed <check the Ford thread for their "normal" vibration issues>, radio fade, rear seatbelt, low voltage on an injector) have been dealt with by a great dealership (Deland Nissan, Deland, FL). The place you buy it really means a lot regarding your experience with your truck. A terrible dealership and service department (like Daytona Beach Nissan) will make you hate your truck. A great service department will help you realize that vehicles get more and more complicated to build. There are going to be issues but that is what warranties and service departments are for.

I am VERY happy with my Titan and think that for a year ONE or year FIVE production ,they did a great job. There are no more issues with the Titan than a Tundra. Some $hit is going to happen.
