The Leer installer didn't already do that for you? Mine did. There are a couple of fuses that they added. As near as I can tell the power for the topper third brake light is coming through the brake light assembly (driver side) while the power for the dome light is a totally separate wire ran all the way from the battery.

If you take power off the trailer hookup then your dome light will only work when the ignition is on.
