I think bestatchess is right. You are missing the actual 7 pin plugin. Just like the pic showed, my truck has a hinged plugin mounted on the receiver hitch. I think what is in your pic is the wiring from the factory which plugs into the actual 7 pin receptacle on the truck. This is probably the case given the missing relays. You need to get the relays and a 7 pin receptacle in order for the adapter that you bought to work.
