has anyone hardwired a radar detector by running the power wires to the over head console to tap into 12 volts i did this in a land cruiser and it worked great. basically want to window mount the radar and then run the wires up the middle of the window and tap into some power from the courtesy lights or compass mirror. before i start opening things up, wanted to see if this has been done or makes sense to anyone. thanks,
