Gig'Em's recap from Half Shovel is quite comprehensive. I would only add that you not take delivery at dusk or later so that you can see all the things to look for, especially the body and paint. It would be worth waiting until the next morning. Mine was missing the utili-trac rails on the bottom of the bed. Was hard to tell they were missing with the rubber covers in place. Good luck
