You can get new carrier bearings, and you would need a new pinion seal and crush sleeve...and a new inner pinion bearing, and I would replace both pinion bearings if it was me...

As far as should you run them, I would have to see it with my own eyes, or in your case have a local trusted rear end shop check out the donor rear end...

I would REALLY do everything you can do to get a T/Trac to replace the diff to replace the weak troublemaking spyder gears...even if you have to wait a couple months to gather up the scratch...

I replaced the factory air in my tires with a Citrus scented air package...
Oh yeh....I replaced the screw that holds on the mirror with a trick black oxide one that nobody will see or care about...
