I've never tried, but I imagine it would be really easy to do it...it should fit no problem. I initially considered that but then thought that if I ever needed space I could just fold it up and take it off the rails and put it vertically in the bed and it wouldnt take up much space at all...but if you need the whole bed I dont see why it would be a problem sticking it in the cab at all...Ill take measurements to make sure.

It is 99% water tight, like pretty much any tonneau. Water gets in at the separation of panels. Im talking MINIMAL amounts of water though. So little actually that you can see the actual circles of the drops from where the water came in.
