They have the option for Air bags with the 4x4 but it is With out the VDC.

SE: Requires Big Tow Package, Trac Package (4x2 only), Off-road Package (4x4 only), SE Utility Bed Package, and Nissan Mobile Theater System (Crew Cabs with captain's chairs). In addition, SE Rockford Fosgate Package or SE Popular Package is required.
LE: Requires Big Tow Package, Off-road Package (4x4 only), Nissan Navigation System option, Sunroof option (Crew Cab only), and Nissan Mobile Theater System (Crew Cab with captain's chairs).
*Air bags are only a supplemental restraint system; always wear your seat belt. Do not use rear-facing child restraints in the front-passenger's seat. Also, all children 12 and under should ride in the rear seat properly secured in child restraints, booster seats, or seat belts according to their size. Been there a few times. You may very well be right but....tell me how you know this. It's not on the site that I can see. These options came up after building an SE 4X4 CC. Nowhere does it state 4X2 only, in fact some show 4X4 only! I was able to build that 4X4 CC SE with both packages. I cannot find anything saying the 2 features cannot be had together...let alone one saying VDC can't be had on 4X4 models.
