Dealer/Location: Southern States Nissan, Apex, NC
Service Advisor: I'll edit when I find the paperwork
Service Experience: Poor
To make a long story short... Went in for a tire rotation and oil change... Lady at the counter recommended a balancing. I was hesitant and first, but then I thought it has 10k on the truck in 3 months and i've hit some nice potholes so I might as well do it.
Hour later I come back to pick it up.. I went and looked at the wheels/tires and it was obvious they didn't touch the wheel weights. Go inside and she said, the tech rotated and had to balance the tires.. I said, he didn't touch the wheel weights.. She said they were on the inside... I know more then the average Joe Schmo that comes into the dealerships and I knew she had no clue what she was talking about. They remove all weights and then check for balancing. Then apply where necessary etc. I went home and nothing was touched. The wheels have soo much brake dust that it would be obvious if something was new or removed.
I called the Service Manager yesterday with the information.. We'll see what they say today.
Needless to say, Dealers are crooks... I thought this one was a little better then most but I was wrong.
