Something like this is what I was thinking about. Possibly cheaper than air bags and not as permanent.

I was looking at the helpers there too. What I found out from a friend who is a mechanic is that it will cause the truck to ride much stiffer and give a much more rough ride when you are not hauling. That is why I am leaning toward the air bags - although more of an install- I can lessen the pressure or increase it when hauling. I use the truck for all driving, not just hauling so I want it to ride like a car when not hauling - just something to think about -

Sorry if this is kind of rambling - its 2:20 am I am way over tired, but can't sleep for the life of me - the wife snores!
