I still stand on what I said before is correct, but...

I still stand on what I said before about the snorkel being able to supply all the air the filter needs is correct, but I de-snorkled any way.

I got my K&N from Courtesy (thanks guys) and when I put it in I saw how restrictive it actually is. I still stand by that it pulls all the air the filter is taking and that the filter is pulling across the board, BUT: Man that's one hell of a 90 degree at the end and it really takes up a lot of volume.

Before (kinda. I forgot to take a before so I'm just holding it up):


And after (nothing a marker, air powered wheel, a file, razor blade and some 200 grit sandpaper didn't fix):
