I wonder if there is a vacuum leak, or a problem with brake booster? The two could be related.

Sounds like the bigger problem you face with it is a relative dearth of Nissan dealers in Ak. If they're incompetent, you really can't own a Nissan there. Dealers are important. It's one reason I purchased so many Chevy's, even though they are just well...Chevy's, I could depend on Burt Chevrolet service department.

And if you haven't given the dealership enough time with it, do it and get a loaner from them.

I'm sort of underwhelmed with the Nissan Titan quality too, but you have to give them enough time to sort it out. And they probably need more time where you are, with fewer competent/certified mechanics in a rural setting.
