I just spoke with a friend who has a 04 Doge Hemi standard cab. He said the 5 speed in his truck is not a true 5 speed. He said that it is really a 4 speed with two 2nd gears. with one 2nd a little higher for passing. He has driven my truck and says the power is about the same but my trans, being a true 5 speed, is much better. I have never drove or even ridden in his, so I only know what he is telling me.
