Which is quieter....Volant or K&N??

Considering purchasing the Volant intake. I had the K&N fipk on my Tundra, but removed it after about 25K miles. The high freq air noise really got irritating after awhile, especially under light throttle.

Does anyone have experience with using both of these intakes on any vehicle, and if so, do you think the Volant (or any other intake) is any quieter than the fipk, or is this just something you live with if you want the few extra hp it will deliver?

Thanks,
Steve
