My dealer here in Atlanta was willing to do this for me for $1000.00. I was able to do it myself for ~$675. I do have some electrical apptitude but there was no wierd splicing. As explained earlier in the thread, I added terminal ends and wires to connector M46 in order to tap into the "factory" DVD audio input. It is all explained above and should be pretty easy for someone to follow, even if you get the parts and have a local shop do the install. Just print the thread and they should be able to get it done. The toughest thing is to get the terminal ends... you have to go to your local dealer's parts department and ask them to go above and beyond the call. They have to get the terminal ends from their "2004 Nissan Electrical Repair Kit". My parts department guy is great!!! I needed 6 terminal ends and he gave me 10..... in case I messed any up crimping them to the wires (they do not sell these). I do not know the part number on the terminal end but I was amazed at how small they were but then again there is not much amperage/voltage going thru those wires.

I have the spare terminal ends... I will try to get a picture of them and post them here to help if you decide to go that route. Most folks do not, they just go thru the AUX input and are done with it. Some, as mentioned earlier in this thread, just go with a portable player... and that is fine too. I have one for my wife's trooper, "Wal-ly World for $277, 2 screens, 1 player, carrying case, remote, etc........... anyway.

If you have more questions do not hesitate to ask.

Nick
