I know this is a controversial statement but shooting someone in the back, as bad as it sounds, is sometimes justified. For instance, if I had a gun and saw someone shooting innocent people at random with an assault rifle, I wouldn't hesitate to shoot that person in the back to prevent further loss of life. I'm not saying that's what happened in this case but just using an example.
It will be interesting to see how the Wisconsin incident turns out once all the facts are in. So far, it doesn't look good for the guy that is arrested.
