How to calculate gas milage
I think this where alot of people are going wrong when they say that they get below 14mpg unless they are towing. When calculating your milage you should fill up your tank and set your trip tachometer. Drive it until you want more gas and the see how much it takes to fill it up. For instance I usually go 370 miles and it takes 22.2 gallons to fill it back up therefore you take 370/22.2=16.6mpg. I realize this is probably commen sense to most but I came across this issue in a post a while ago where someone would take the the 370 miles divided by the full tank capacity of 28 gallons which would be 13.2 mpg. Unless you drive untill you run out of gas and your truck stops then it doesn't take that much to fill it up. The light on my titan comes on after using like 21 gallons of gas. Anyway I hope this helps at least one person out there b/c I love my titan and want everyone here to love theirs as well.
