Not only that but also because they build junk. There will always be the piece of crap "Friday" car as long as they are unionized. Not to mention the fact that the stuff they sell is yesterday's news (still using pushrod motors). The new Mustang would pack even more power if they used 4-valves per cylinder instead of cutting corners and using just 3 and also if they adopted VVT technology. It amazes me that people would think nothing of dropping $20k or $30k on something from the big 3 that is already outdated but this is just my opinion.
