It's the switch. I had mine replaced by the dealer. It's better than the original but still can happen. I since have installed a DRL system that switches my lights grom 75% daytime to 100% at dusk and thus basically eliminated the use of the factory switch. It still operates but I don't need it.

The service manager and I went out on the lot and tried all the Titans and all would go off too easy. Then we tried the Altima with the same switch and you can't make it happen.

I reported it to the OSD several months ago and so far I'm the only complaint so nothing has been investigated.

I feel this is a dangerous safety defect and everyone should report it to both the OSD and Nissan.

It should take more force to rotate the switch barrel , the foglight switch is hard to find without turning off your headlights, the headlights shouldn't be on the stalk that is constanly used in driving-move it to the other side, and please put an indicator light on the instrument panel to tell me when the foglights are on!!!
